dr. R.J. Koerper

R.J. Koerper is the international president of Global Action, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Prior to that, R.J. was lead teacher and pastor of discipleship of Northern Hills Church in Brighton, Colorado. and served there for six years.  During those six years R.J. also taught for GLOMOS since 2011 in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and most recently the Ukraine.

R.J. grew up in Montana, graduated from Montana State University, went on to Western Seminary in Portland and graduated with an M Div degree.  After a year in the pastorate, R.J. and his family moved to Colorado, where R.J. served as an associate professor in the Biblical Studies department at Colorado Christian University, creating the Youth Ministry major, and later co-created the Outdoor Leadership Minor.  R.J. taught full time for 24 years, then part time for five before leaving CCU in 2015 to pastor full time in Brighton.  R.J. also had a part time counselling practice for 20 years.  R.J. has ministered extensively internationally, leading youth conferences in Northern and Southern Ireland, Mexico City, and Tijuana, and adult conferences in Poland and the Ukraine.   R.J. is married to Ermelinda, has two grown daughters, Sarah and Amy and three grandchildren.  In his free time, R.J. loves hanging out with his wife, running, and doing most anything outdoors.
